Am transfer to the train station to go to the 104 km of the railway line where we will start the walk. After crossing the suspension bridge over the Urubamba River and go through the archaeological site of Chachabamba, climb the magnificent archaeological site of Wiñaywayna (2,700 m) located in the towering mountains overlooking the Urubamba River valley. On the way to appreciate the characteristic vegetation of the forest.
Our tour will continue on through the dense vegetation to "La Puerta del Sol" or "Intipunku" The breathtaking panoramic view of the citadel of Machu Picchu (2,475 m) mountain and its environment will be our best reward. Descend to Aguas Calientes.
